Coaching is a committment between a coach and a client.
-
The client is responsible and committed to making a positive change in their lives, and does the work here. The coach holds the client responsible for their work, and following up on assignments and agreed upon action plans.
-
The coach doesn't necessarily provide answers, but asks the right questions to help the client sort out the options and find the right answers. The coach helps the client see the opportunities and results that come about through positive change. The client needs to own their vision, and the coach provides tools to help the client clearly see the process and follow their path without getting distracted.
-
Coaching can provide the assist needed to get the client up and over the hurdles of life, regardless their size. The coach helps the client break the process down into manageable steps, which reduces the imposing nature or scale of the perceived hurdle.
-
Coaching is an exciting and growth filled journey, when the client is willing to trust the process.
